Why I Keep Coming Back: A Repeater Guest’s Tale of Comfort and Charm

In December 2016, our esteemed guest visited one of our hotels for the first time, drawn by the glowing recommendations of two close friends. “We came because two couples we knew couldn't stop raving about the place," they recall. "One couple adored the villas, while the other couldn’t get enough of the sea view rooms. We ended up in the East Wing, as the West Wing was undergoing renovations at the time. Club 159 hadn't opened yet, but we were instantly overwhelmed by the warmth of the staff. It was that warmth and friendliness that made us feel so comfortable. It’s been a home away from home ever since.”

What started as a singular visit quickly became a tradition. Now, they find themselves returning three to four times a year, with this year marking an impressive fifth visit. “The family atmosphere is what brings me back, time and time again," they say with a smile. "The staff welcomes me back with genuine smiles and the kind of warmth that makes it feel like coming home each time. The food is always top-notch, and I’m especially fond of the in-house reef, which you can easily access from the beach. Watching the hotel evolve over the years, particularly the redesign and renovations, has been wonderful.”

When asked about what stands out the most, their answer was heartfelt. “I think it’s fantastic how the hotel continues to innovate while maintaining its charm. The food, for instance, has improved dramatically over the years, and the rooms are now in excellent condition. There's such attention to detail and consistency in service.”

Still, even the most devoted guests have thoughtful suggestions. “I’d love to see a bit more variety in the evening entertainment, especially when it comes to music. A structured program for repeater guests could be something special too. But most of all, I hope the hotel maintains its charm and doesn't expand too much, keeping that special atmosphere. And of course, the standard and quality of drinks and food should stay just as high.”

Finally, when asked what advice they’d give to prospective guests considering a stay, the response was full of warmth: “If you're looking for a place where you’re more than just a guest, where you're greeted with genuine smiles and made to feel at home, then this is the hotel for you. The service, the beauty of the resort, and the personal touches make it a place you’ll want to come back to, again and again. But be careful—it's addictive!”
